Though a lot of Film Festivals have started in India in past few years like Star Screen Awards, IIFA, Zee Cine awards and many others but the most oldest and most prestigious of them all is Filmfare Awards which took place on last Saturday.

Entire Film Industry was a part of this star studded night. Many rocking performances were lined up for the show. Stars which performed that day includes Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Shamita Shetty, Lara Dutta but I think the most special one was by Madhuri Dixit who appeared on stage after six long years and wooed the audiences with her breath taking performance.
Just like other award functions Black appeared as a clear winner here too, with claiming all top honors including Best Actor for Amitabh Bachchan, Best Actress for Rani Mukherjee, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Best Director, Best Film, Critics Award and few technical awards as well. Ayesha Kapoor, was awarded with Best Child Actor for portraying young Mitchelle (Rani) in Black. In all Black won 11 Awards at Filmfare.
Best Female Debut Award was taken by Vidya Balan for Parineeta and Best Male Debut award was given to Shiney Ahuja for 'Hazaaro Khywahishain Aisi'.
Apart from Black Parineeta, Apharan, Bunty aur Bubbly were the few names included in the winners list.
