Sources conveyed the fact that the Rajputs are so irritated that they are all set to appeal the state government of Rajasthan not to permit Gowariker to shoot for his film in Rajasthan.
Rajputs in Rajasthan have strong feel that Gowariker's script is misrepresenting the facts and showing Rajput community in bad light and they do not that to happen.
The Rajput community is even planning to take some legal action against the filmmaker to stop the film.
Flick Jodha-Akbar is story of a love affair that bloomed between the Hindu Rajput princess Jodhabai and the Mughal emperor Akbar.
Before this Durga Khote acted out the role of Jodhabai for K. Asif's Mughal-e-Azam and veteran actor Prithviraj Kapoor played the part of mighty emperor Akbar.
