While shooting for his first production venture ‘Gandhi, my father‘ Anil Kapoor was forced to stay in his hotel room, since a complete ban on his movement in the locality nearby was in force by the director Feroz Abbas Khan. 
The shooting was on, in the narrow lanes of the old part of Ahmedabad, and the place used to get very crowded at a very short notice. The crew managed somehow to clear the area, but the situation deteriorated with the arrival of the actor. From the day on, he was forced to stay inside the hotel only. Later he found commenting on this issue
It is true that the situation got completely out of control in Ahmedabad and I had to be confined to my hotel. It’s not always that you can have your cake and eat it too!

Being a veteran actor Anil Kapoor surely has a huge fan following among all age groups. So the mare presence of him comes into the headlines. The masses behavior was quite expected, keeping in view the passion Indian fans exhibit. Anil Kapoor must be happy seeing this huge fan following in his first production venture. The only thing he might expect the fans should continue their journey to the theaters as well to make this movie a big hit in Indian film industry.
With a different kind of story and being quite sensitive in nature, ‘Gandhi my father’ is already in limelight. Waiting for its release in 3rd August, this movie has created a lot of hype and there are speculations about some unusual and untold story of the family life of Gandhiji.
