Mira Nair’s upcoming cross-cultural venture Shantaram starring Big B and Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, is in news to surprise the audience with some very unusual makeovers. Amitabh Bachchan is rumored to go bald for this flick, as per the demands of the character that he is playing.
According to sources, Mira Nair is trying to do something that no filmmaker in Bollywood has managed to do so far. Vidhu Vinod Chopra could not convince Amitabh Bachchan to grow a real beard for ‘Eklavya‘ and hence a false one was used. But Mira Nair might just convince the superstar to go bald for her movie ‘Shantaram’.
While Johnny Depp will play the lead role, Amitabh Bachchan has been signed to play the role of underworld don Kader Bhai and this really calls in for a deadly bald look. What say?
