The Rajasthan government has set its eyes on Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan as it aims to boost tourism through the actor, for its state, Jaipur that represents India by rich culture and traditional art.
If all goes well then the actor will be lending his voice for a sound and light show at the majestic Amber fort built in 16th century in Jaipur. The Amber Development Board has already spoken to Amitabh Bachchan for the voiceover that will be used for the light and sound program, which serves as a guide to tourists, informing them about the historical background of the fort and the ancient anecdotes associated with it.
For the Light and Sound show at the fort, famous poet and lyricist Gulzar also has been approached and he has committed himself for writing a script for the show.
For the event, whole of the fort would be illuminated with laser lights and a dramatic commentary will run alongside that will provide all details of the fort with the historical tales associated with it.

The Amber Fort is amidst striking rugged hills, and is a perfect blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The fort made in red sandstone and white marble was built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by Sawai Jai Singh I.
During 2005-06 more than 1.2 million foreign tourists and 17 million domestic tourists visited Rajasthan, making it a vital tourist spot. Rajasthan alone attracts 60 per cent of international tourists visiting India.
