For Akshay Kumar it’s another jewel on his crown, this time literally, for he his ready to flaunt a real expensive turban costing a whopping Rs 65 lakh in his upcoming flick.
Vipul Shah’s forthcoming movie ‘Singh is King’ will witness Akki playing a Sardar, a clean shaven though, opposite Katrina Kaif.
Director Anees Bazmi plans to present Akshay in a never-before seen avatar.
Producer Vipul Shah says,
Akshay has been given a very special look for this movie. The pagdi would be the highlight of the look and would have a real diamond.
According to an insider,
The idea is to develop the coolest Sardar that you have seen on screen. So we are developing a funky look for him and the turban is a big element. It’s a designer pagdi, but the real cost is that of the diamond.
For Akshay has this remarkable ability to carry off a variety of looks and also his athletic frame will make him carry off this look with ease. And why not after all Akshay is a punjabi puttar!
