Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are currently in Bagalkot, North Karnataka, shooting for Mani Ratnam’s flick Guru.
The area shares its location with historical sites like Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal. Abhishek plays the role of a legendary hero of the 1857 Mutiny.
It was a difficult task getting shooting permission from the Archaeological Survey of India. While they were shooting for the film, the two also visited historical monuments.
Apart from Aishwarya and Abhishek, Guru also stars Mallika Sherawat. However, she was not present in Bagalkot coz she didn’t have any scenes there.
