Abhi-Ash Wedding: 'Khan'daan missing, Media guessing

From varied media sources, over a period of last ten days, the guests' list for Abhishek Bachchan - Aishwarya Rai wedding, though unconfirmed, has in all likelihood the following.

Bachchan's immediate relatives that include brother Ajitabh and his family, sister Shweta and her in-laws (which include all the Kapoors).

Abhishek's close friends like Goldie Behl, Rohan Sippy and Sikandar Kher, Karan Johar and his mother Hiroo Johar, as well as J.P.Dutta whom Abhishek looks on as a father figure. Besides, Yash Chopra, his wife Pam and sons Aditya and Uday, are likely to be there at the ceremony on 20 April.

From the illustrious 'undisclosed' guests' list, what is strikingly missing are the names of three 'Khans': Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman. Perhaps, it is understandable if Aamir and Salman are not invited as they are, in any case, not close to Bachchans. Shah Rukh's exclusion, if at all, will not surprise one and all.

According to media reports, neighbours have been asked to keep their gates shut to media personnel and the aviation ministry requested to bar planes over their residence during the wedding.
