Actor Aamir Khan, who generally keeps a distance from the Bollywood award Functions have sued Filmfare for 21 crore rupees over misusing his photograph for promoting the event.

All this started with an advertisement in Times of India which included his photograph and a quote 'I incited a revolt to win her over!'
His lawyer revealed that he never said those words and the publication have used his photograph without his permission.
In his legal notice he has asked TOI Group to pay a compensation of Rs 21 Crore for running his image and to print an apology within a week sating that he never endorsed Filmfare Awards or Filmfare Magazine.
