Well, it seems Akshay is having some big problem with his forthcoming film Tashan. He has blatantly refused to attend the promotion parties, the media events. He will not work anymore with Yash Raj films. It seems that Akki baby has some issues with the promotion of his forthcoming film. He says that Aditya Chopra is not using his solo pictures or trailers for the film. Instead he is more concerned with portraying the star couple- Kareena and Saif strongly since they might earn some extra moolahs for the film. Well, Akshay, how can you ever think of getting all the attention when lover boy Saif and scandal queen Bebo is there? Besides, there is our lovable Anil Kapoor who seems to have accepted this bitter truth.

The film, based on the Bengali play “Aajker Shahjahan” by Utpal Dutt, focuses on the conflict between theatre and screen as well as on inter personal relationship. Preity will be seen playing the role of an actress in traditional Bengali dresses, wearing bindis and having her long flowing hair open. The film was already selected to be premiered at the prestigious Toronto film festival. As co stars, Preity will have Amitabh Bachchan [playing an ageing and fading Shakespearean actor], Arjun Rampal[as a rising hot-shot], Jishu Sengupta and Shefali Shah.

By far Preity has reigned in Bollywood with her glamour, full-off-bean attitude and killing dimples. But now it’s time to see her on-screen-appearance with minimum make up. With The Last Lear she has just turned over a new leaf and we will see her in more such serious roles. She is in talks with Saji Karun’s film Suryamukhi where as Jahnu Barua has already involved her in his forthcoming Har Pall.

Kangana Ranaut will play the lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’. This film is based on the life of model Gitanjali Nagpal who was found on the street of Delhi in mentally challenged status. Priyanka Chopra and Mughda Godse are other casts of the film.

Madhur, who is famous for his national award winning film Chandni Bar decided to cast Kangana for the role after going through the photographs of Gitanjali. Kangana who has always experimented with her look to get into the skin of the character, will chop her curly hair off this time. Earlier for the film ‘Woh Lamhe’, in which she had played the role of Parveen Bobby, she has straightened her hair.

Bollywood is enjoying the season of sequel these days. The success of Krishh, Dhoom 2, Phir Herapheri has opened a new door for Hindi filmmakers. That is why everyone in Bollywood is trying to encash this trend.

Yes, I will launch my daughter, but this project is in initial stage. It will take time to plan everything well.

We all know that Salman Khan is an actor. Few of us know about his painting skill and fewer about his writing credentials. Yes, Salman Khan is very fond of writing as well. He himself has written the script of his forthcoming film ‘Veer’. This action-oriented mega budget film will be produced and directed by Vijay Galani and Anil Sharma. The music director duo Sajid-Wajid has been hired for handling music department. The shooting is scheduled to commence by the end of January.

Other casts are yet to be finalised. Reportedly Anil Sharma was keen to cast Amitabh Bachchan for second lead, but Big B turned down the offer.

The first super hero of Indian cinema, Hrithik Roshan, will be off-action for at least six weeks as he is suffering from a serious knee injury.

The title of the film is yet to be decided. Tabu, who has always been appreciated for portraying subtle characters, will live up to expectation of her audience for sure. So watch out for her.
